A mortal maiden must survive a fallen god's wrath long enough to reach a lost city and release a secret army capable of destroying him.

Phyrin, God of Goblins, goes rogue on Mortal Earth in a quest to take over. His fellow gods are against what he does, but their code of conduct prevents them from interfering. They come up with a way around the rules by hiding the power to stop Phyrin within a mortal, who must reach the lost city of Rodaria to release a secret army capable of destroying the goblins. A goddess comes up with the idea of hiding the power within Fescina, a maiden who is unlike others. She is exceptional with a bow and not bad with a sword. Head god Zacherus is skeptical, yet he agrees because it will fool Phyrin long enough to possibly work.

The rebels, led by Markus, an expert swordsman, have fought against the goblins relentlessly. The goddess Athena appears to Markus to inform him there is a chosen one. Find them in Tara Village and escort them to Rodaria. Not knowing any further details, Markus and his right-hand man Vaughn head to the village. A young wizard, Paragon, works on his magic during the journey.

Soten is Fescina’s father and the leader of his village. While he wishes his daughter was like other girls, he realizes she isn’t and allows her to be herself, for the most part. When Markus and his men arrive. Fescina is placed in charge of them. Immediately, she is taken by Vaughn, as he is with her. When she offers to help them against Phyrin, the men laugh at her. Fascia’s confidence is destroyed.

Phyrin’s sorceress Alesis sends a dragon to destroy the entire village. As the beast attacks, Fascia is their only hope. She wounds is as it approaches her hut but is about to be roasted alive when Vaughn tackles her out of the fire’s path. Her entire family dies in the attack, as do most villagers. Markus and Vaughn see her to safety. They feel an obligation to look after her for the time being.

On their journey, Paraben touches Fascia and feels the power the gods gave her. He tells Markus she is the chosen one. He is left with no choice but to see her safely to the lost city. On the way, they encounter Garolis, an elf Fescina has fallen in love with earlier but their peoples weren’t accepting. When the group is attacked by goblins, Fescina is wounded. The only way to save her life is for Garolis to give up his immortality, which he happily sacrifices.

Fescina encounters a pair of gnomes and a fairy sent to look after her by the gods. At Rodaria, the rebels are forced into battle against Phyrin’s army. Fescina releases the secret army, critical in winning against the goblins. Vaughn falls to an arrow fired by a dark elf. Markus attempts to battle Phyrin but is wounded severely. That leaves Fascia to take on the fallen god. She battles fiercely and kills him.

Vaughn holds on long enough to see Fescina one last time before he dies. She is left devastated without him, but Markus continues his mentor role by taking her home with the survivors.
