A teen who suspects her new step-mom may be after her dad’s wealth finds herself having to battle the gold digger in order to save him.

18-year-old Casey is off to college, leaving her CEO father, Will, an empty nester. His brother Jason takes him to a bar to meet a new lady, but things don’t go well for him. Mandy, a beautiful woman with a sparkling personality, approaches Will. The two hit it off well and begin dating.

Within a month, they fall in love. When Casey comes home for the weekend, she not only learns about the new girlfriend, she is forced to watch as her dad proposes. Something about Mandy gives Casey pause, but Will refuses to believe anything bad is going on with his new fiancee.

One day when Will isn’t home, his ex-wife Alice stops by to see him. Mandy is bitter at first, then lets her in. She fixes two cups of tea and drugs one of them that she hands to Alice. The ex has fallen on bad luck and wants to ask Will for help. Once she finishes her drink, Mandy throws her out. On Alice’s way home, she has a heart attack and fatally crashes into a tree.

Mandy hires low-life Carter, who is ordained, to impersonate a minister and marry them in Will’s backyard. She also has him bring his ex-girlfriend along to play Mandy’s longtime best friend. The wedding is kept secret due to Casey’s dislike of Mandy. They plan to hold a second wedding later for family.

Once she becomes Will’s wife, Mandy works her way into the Will. While she manages to convince her husband to give Casey and her equal shares, Will informs her that if at any time Casey has a child before his death, he will change his estate to Casey receiving 80% to Mandy’s 20%.

Smelling vast wealth, Carter attempt to blackmail Mandy for a piece of the action. She kills him and dumps his body over a cliff. Now she wants to find a way to cause Will’s death that won’t make her a suspect. She convinces him to buy a pair of ebikes and insists each puts their own together. What Will doesn’t know is that Mandy loosens his handlebars. On a trail ride next to a canyon, he wrecks and nearly goes over the edge. To Mandy’s dismay, he manages to survive.

Casey discovers she is pregnant, news that devastates her but she knows she wants to keep the baby. She goes home for the weekend to break the news to her dad. Will is shocked by the revelation, but not as much as Mandy is. This means her share of Will’s estate will drop to 20% unless something is done before he can make the legal change.

Mandy drugs Will’s drink, then does the same to Casey. Both wake up tied to chairs with Mandy explaining her master plan of making Casey look like a raging daughter who kills her father and commits suicide so both will be dead and Mandy inherits everything. During a fight, Will is shot. Casey battles to protect her unborn child and kills her step-mom.
