A well-known director gets more than he bargains for when his estranged daughter's gorgeous friend arrives on his doorstep and casts a web of seduction that destroys his life.

Synopsis

Well-known director Dan Fenning has a successful career, lots of money, an expensive house, and a gorgeous girlfriend, Megan. Things couldn't be better until his ex-wife Susan drops off his estranged daughter Jasmine, a 16-year-old goth girl with an attitude. Dan doesn’t know how to be a father to her but receives a crash course.

Megan is jealous over Dan giving his daughter attention and does whatever she can to interfere with their relationship. On top of that, Dan’s neighbors, Nick and his sultry wife Holly, are willing to do anything to get Holly a role in one of Dan’s films, even if she has to sleep with him. Advances are made, and Dan finds himself flustered with people in his life pulling him in every direction.

Just as he starts to repair his relationship with Jasmine, her very attractive 17-year-old friend Karen arrives on Dan’s doorstep. She has run away from home four months before her 18th birthday and figured she could stay with Jasmine. Karen flirts with Dan right away, also wanting a role in his movies. Dan wants to send her home but she begs him to let her stay for a few days while things cool down with her mom.

Now Dan has Megan, Nick and Holly, and Karen trying to seduce him at every turn. Meanwhile, Jasmine is starting to hate it there. Just as she develops a relationship with her father, one of the others ruins it. Holly lures Dan to her house with a pretend plumbing emergency. Once there, he becomes soaked from the water leak, and Holly offers him some of Nick’s dry clothes. Things become heated and Dan finally gives in to temptation. When they begin an intimate encounter, Nick joins them, camera rolling. Dan ends things almost immediately and flees the house.

Things aren’t any better back home. He is forced to break up with Megan because she becomes too demanding. Then Karen gives her best effort to seducing Dan. As wrong as he knows it is, there is too much pent up tension. While they make out in the dining room, Nick sneaks up to the patio doors and see what takes place inside. Worried Dan will tell people about his filming of Dan with Holly, he figures he can blackmail Dan now to keep him quiet.

Even worse than Nick seeing them, Jasmine does as well. That’s the final straw for her. She storms out. Dan realizes she has seen him with Karen and that causes her disgust with him. He is also forced into a confrontation with Nick, where both agree to keep each other’s secrets.

While Karen looks for a late night snack, someone she knows stabs her to death while Dan sleeps on the couch. He is arrested for her murder and sentenced to prison for most of his life. Unable to cope there, he commits suicide. It turns out his ex-wife Susan is the one who killed Karen and framed Dan so Jasmine would inherit everything and give her access to all the money as well.
